Legend of the Galactic Heroes (銀河英雄伝説 Ginga Eiyū Densetsu) referred to as Heldensagen vom Kosmosinsel is a series of by Tanaka Yoshiki.
The series received an anime adaptation and ran from 1988 to 1997. In April 2018, Production I.G released a new anime adaptation of the space opera, by Production I.G ran to June 2018. A sequel trilogy film premiered in September 2019.
Plot
In the distant future, there's an interstellar going on. For almost two centuries, the monarchic and the democratic have been in constant battle.
