Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The New Thesis (銀河英雄伝説 DIEディ NEUEノイエ THESEテーゼ Ginga Eiyū Densetsu: Di Noie Tēze). Production I.G produced the latest adaptation. It aired between April and June 2018 as a 12-episode series.
A second season was announced in February 2019, The New Thesis: Stellar War. It premiered in Japanese theaters as three films of four episodes each in 2019. The movies premiered on September 27, October 25, and November 29, 2019, respectively.
Plot[]
For almost two centuries, the monarchic and the democratic have been in constant battle. The series focuses on the exploits of rivals Reinhard von Lohengramm and Yang Wen-li as they rise to power and fame in the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, respectively.
