加藤 直之 Katou Naoyuki (1952 to Present)

A native of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka prefecture, Kato Naoyuki worked as the lead mechanical designer for the main Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA. He is known for his very realistic depictions of spacecraft, first earning some fame from his work on the Legend of Galactic Heroes anime adaptation.
