Jochen von Remsheid was a member of the Galactic Empire's High Nobles, and a participant the Lippstadt Rebellion. After the end of the Imperial Civil War Remscheid fled to Phezzan. After the abduction of Kaiser Erwin Joseph II, Remscheid went with the boy emperor to Heinnesen, capital of the Free Planets Alliance, to head a government-in-exile, with the support of the FPA government.
